We are far enough away from the village to be surrounded by rolling countryside but close enough to enjoy what Keinton Mandeville has to offer. A short walk down a country lane will take you into the village where you will find the shop, hairdressers, photographers and The Quarry Inn, the local pub. Only half a mile away, it is great for children with its secure garden, kids menu, changing facilities and climbing frame.

You can also reach the village of Barton St David by a footpath that runs across the fields. It is only a little further than Keinton Mandeville and The Barton Inn is a feauture of the village.

For those who like a bit of exercise, there is walking on the Somerset Levels, riding from local livery yards, fishing at Somerton and two golf courses are only a couple of miles away. And there is Wincanton Race Course, with racing in the winter and pony and horse shows during the summer.
