For day trips out, there are many, many places to visit that are a little further afield. To the north of us lies Bath with it’s Roman Baths and beautiful architecture. Then there is Bristol and the magnificent Clifton Suspention Bridge, the Maritime Heritage Centre, Bristol Zoo, and many more attractions. Or Weston-Super-Mare for a day on the beach.

To the east, is lovely Stourhead House & Gardens, Longleat House & Safari Park and the world famous Stonehenge. To the south is the Dorset World Heritage Jurassic Coast with Lyme Regis at it’s centre.

To the west of us is Hestercombe House, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum (with it’s protype of Concorde), and a little further is the dramatic Exmoor National Park.
